AI Is Here, & It’s Dividing Professional Services Firms

Whether we like it or not, AI is here and it's already grouping professional services businesses into two categories - those that are wary of it, and those that are embracing it.

Businesses in the second group are using it to boost efficiency, even when resources are stretched, saving themselves around an hour a day (Adecco). More businesses will fall into this second category. Those that don’t will get left behind.

Why? AI usage is on the rise. Chances are your successful competitors are already leaning on it, with 84% of Australian office workers reporting they use AI at work (Tech Council of Australia)

It helps with strategy, admin, creativity and efficiency. AI will never replace a personal service, and its output should always be tailored to your brand voice. But it’s an essential timesaver.

The professional services clients I work with that are embracing it are working smarter, not harder. We’re using AI-powered marketing to raise their profile and win new business.

Firms that aren’t using AI to grow their client base and demonstrate thought-leadership will be making their competitors very happy indeed.
