About Me

Hi! I’m Andrew, a former-marketing manager from the UK with over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications.

I’m living my dream of travelling Australia whilst doing work that I love! I’m based in Mission Beach and working with small businesses across Queensland.

As a craft beer enthusiast, I’m a firm believer that the products or services offered by smaller businesses often trump those offered by larger companies. They not only win in terms of quality, but also customer service.

For this reason, I’ve always admired the small businesses competing against the big dogs every day, in a real-life David and Goliath contest.

97% of all businesses in Australia are small, and there are over 495,000 small businesses in Queensland alone. This country certainly has its share of inspiring leaders!

My philosophy is simple. Small businesses can win business by making their customers feel valued. That is their edge.

72% of Australian consumers say they receive a better, more personalised service from small businesses that makes them feel valued.

Community Marketing

Good marketing is one way small businesses can deliver an unbeatable, personalised service to customers. That’s why I’m passionate about delivering strong, ‘community marketing’ to small companies.

72% of Australians are more inclined to purchase goods and services from small businesses compared to large corporations.

This trend is global. Craft beer and soda companies, etsy, Vinted. What do they all have in common? Their successes are driven by consumers choosing the Davids over the Goliaths.

People want a more personalised experience, and for that, you have to go small.

Not all small businesses need to grow. But all of them can continue to enjoy real success and foster thriving communities by building meaningful connections with their customers through powerful marketing.

I’ve worked in marketing roles across several industries, including construction, housing, pharmaceuticals, automotive and financial services.

My experiences have taught me that there is no such thing as a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to marketing.

Each small business is unique, and so are the ways they can build, nurture and grow their communities.

Throughout my career, I have had lots of successes, failed a few times, but I’ve always learnt. I want to share this experience with you.

If you think I can help your business and grow its community, drop me a message and let’s see if we can work together!
